Hard water can really damage not just pipes and appliances but taps too. A call to fix a dripping mixer tap revealed that the lime scale had eaten away the body of the tap so badly that the whole mono bloc tap had to be replaced. We fitted a new tap even with some help from the family cat. Clearly the cat felt it needed to confirm just who was the boss and who owned the kitchen cupboard!
